YMCA Enrolling Active Seniors in Adult Classes, under Successful New Partnership with Legacy Village at Park Regency

MOULTRIE, Ga. (May 31, 2017) – A new partnership between the Moultrie YMCA and Legacy Village at Park Regency has made it possible for active residents of Moultrie’s premier senior living community to attend senior adult classes three times a week at the local Y.

These classes, which are held in the YMCA’s newly renovated wellness center and indoor heated pool, provide low-impact exercises that serve as great therapy for the residents.

“Our residents always enjoy having an active and healthy lifestyle. We couldn’t think of a better way to have physical and social interaction than to join the YMCA senior adult program,” Melissa Boatwright, director of clinical support of Legacy Senior Living, management company of Legacy Village at Park Regency, said.

“We were very excited to join forces with such an incredible health care partner like Legacy Village at Park Regency. The YMCA is committed to helping our seniors improve their well-being by focusing on a healthy mind, body and spirit and Legacy Village shares that same vision.
