MOULTRIE, Ga. (December 22, 2017) – Legacy Village at Park Regency, a premier senior living community serving the Colquitt County, Ga., area, hosted its second annual chili cook-off on Thursday, Nov. 30.
Local firemen Cameron Ford, Keith Walker, and Josh Gay, from Moultrie’s Fire Station #2 served as the panel of judges.
“We appreciate all that our firemen do to serve our facility and the Moultrie community. We love having them involved in our activities and interacting with our residents,” Jamey Rickard, executive director of Legacy Village at Park Regency, said.
Chili was prepared by five of the Legacy Village employees and was enjoyed by residents, family members and staff. Employee Christy Tucker won first place, with a prize of $25.
“Our residents and team members enjoyed sampling the different chili dishes that were prepared by our staff. We had such a fun time and really appreciate the firemen coming out to judge the contest,” Lisa Bynum, life enrichment coordinator of Legacy Village at Park Regency, said.
