Legacy Village at Park Regency Caregiver Carolyn Huckaby Goes the ‘Extra Mile’ for Residents

MOULTRIE, Ga. (May 13, 2019) - Legacy Village at Park Regency caregiver Carolyn Huckaby has been named the senior living community’s annual Going the Extra Mile award winner.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate Carolyn, who celebrates our residents every single day. Congratulations to a caregiver who always goes the second mile in caring for residents,” said Allen Chambers, executive director of Legacy Village at Park Regency.

Huckaby, who has served the Legacy Village at Park Regency community since 2005, displays exemplary dedication to the residents, their families and other staff members. She is known for her hard work and selfless attitude.

A winner of previous Extra Mile awards, Huckaby was selected for the annual award out of pool of quarterly winners due to her outstanding work.

The Going the Extra Mile program encourages residents, family members and employees to nominate team members who have performed exceptionally well in a specific scenario. A program committee reviews nominations each quarter, selecting a winner who receives a special parking space, a personalized plaque in the lobby and a $100 cash prize. The annual winner receives a $500 prize.
